CM Sarma inaugurated projects worth 114 crore in Jagiroad on December 24.

CM Sarma along with MLA Piyush Hazarika unveiled the projects in Jagiroad.

One of the projects included a rail foot overbridge worth ₹85.96 crore.

Another project was Waterfront Development Project worth ₹ 9.56 crore.

PWD inspection building costing ₹9.5 crore has also been promised.

Also a permanent office building priced at ₹1.95 crore is also in plans.

A 750-seater multi-purpose auditorium amounting to ₹7.20 crore has also been planned.

He expressed optimism that the plans would impact the entire middle Assam positively.

Assam CM announced a ₹50 crore scheme for the development of Jagiroad's drainage system.

He further revealed plans for a new fire brigade centre in Jagiroad.

The inauguration of the Morigaon Medical College in Jagiroad is also planned in coming years.
