The film became the most-watched on Disney+ Hotstar in 2023 within three days of its release on the platform.

Gaurav Banerjee, Head of Content at Disney+ Hotstar, stated that the movie is doing "phenomenally well" on the OTT platform.

Banerjee highlighted the strong connection viewers have with Vidhu Vinod Chopra's storytelling.

The success is attributed to the film's portrayal of a compelling tale with authenticity and from the heart.
